Displacement accuracy control of the valve needle
The valve needle uses a plug-in installation structure linked with a lever drive mechanism, achieving millimeter-level displacement precision control through the extension and retraction of the pressure cylinder piston rod. Its conical surface taper angle is designed between 45° and 75°, with the tip diameter 4% larger than the valve body discharge end to achieve dynamic sealing.

The valve needle body is usually made of high-hardness steel, such as 4140 alloy steel or 1Cr13 stainless steel, with a yield strength of over 850MPa. The surface is nitrided to enhance wear resistance, and some high-end models use CrAlN coating, reducing the friction coefficient to below 0.15.

In hot runner systems, the valve bushing is usually installed on the manifold or above the hot nozzle, but both positions are close to high-temperature plastic, which easily causes thermal expansion and increases dimensions, leading to valve bushing displacement and inner hole deformation, affecting the valve pin movement accuracy.
